Growth and AI visibility for psychology practices

Go Forth Digital is the growth and AI visibility partner for Australian allied health and therapy practices. For psychology practices with two to fifteen clinicians we lift utilisation by clinician, speed up intake for Better Access, NDIS psychosocial and private clients, and get the practice named when a patient asks Google or ChatGPT for a psychologist. Assessment demand is handled as an intake problem, because that is what it is.

Go Forth Digital is run by a founder who has worked a physiotherapy front desk processing private health and NDIS payments, run a gym P&L, and spent five years building health and wellness websites.

What keeps a psychology practice owner up

In most psychology practices one or two clinicians carry a waitlist while others have open slots the same week.

Utilisation by clinician is the first number we ask for, because the gap between the fullest and emptiest diary is where the growth is. Intake speed is the second: a Better Access referral that waits four days for a call-back books elsewhere. Assessment demand for ADHD and autism is the third, and it is usually constrained by how enquiries are routed, not by how many arrive.

The funding mix sits under all of it. Better Access, NDIS psychosocial, private pay and health fund clients each need a different page, a different intake question and a different follow-up. We build for the mix you have.

What that looks like for a psychology practice

  • Get found

When a patient searches Google or asks ChatGPT for a psychologist who works with their presentation and takes their funding, your practice is in the answer.

  • Get booked

Referrals and enquiries are triaged to the clinician with capacity and booked into a first session without the front desk chasing.

  • Get your hours back

Progress notes, NDIS reports and GP letters take clinician hours today. We hand those hours back as billable sessions.

Funding streams we work inside

Each funding stream needs its own page, its own intake question and its own follow-up.

Medicare Better Access
Referral-led intake with a GP plan attached. The page states the rebate, the gap and the number of sessions; intake captures the plan before the first call.
NDIS psychosocial
Support coordinator referrals that need registration status, capacity and report turnaround visible on the page. Report drafting support is where hours come back.
Private pay
Patients who searched a presentation and a suburb, or asked an AI. The page answers fees, wait and what a first session involves, and books online.
Health fund
Extras claims processed at the desk. Intake asks the fund up front so the front desk does not chase it later.

Questions psychology practice owners ask

Can a psychology practice use testimonials?

No. The Psychology Board of Australia and AHPRA prohibit testimonials about clinical care in advertising, and that includes reviews you republish on your own site. Google reviews you did not solicit and do not display are a separate matter. What you can do is publish plain, accurate pages about who you see, what a first session involves, fees, rebates and wait times. Those pages do more for intake than testimonials ever did, and they are what AI answers quote.

How do we get more ADHD and autism assessment enquiries without a waitlist we cannot serve?

Publish the assessment pathway as a page: what it involves, how many sessions, what it costs, what the report covers and who it is for. Then set intake to route assessment enquiries to the clinicians with capacity and to hold the rest at a stated wait. Demand for assessment is high enough that the constraint is usually intake, not marketing. We fix the intake first so the enquiries you already receive become bookings.

Does this work for telehealth-only practices?

Yes, and in one way better. A telehealth practice competes nationally on specific prompts, such as a psychologist for a named presentation who takes Better Access referrals with a short wait. Google Business Profile still matters for the registered address, and the service pages carry the rest. The arithmetic is the same: utilisation by clinician, enquiries per week, and how many become a first session.

What does it cost for a psychology practice?

From $4,000 for a Foundations project and from $1,500 a month for a Growth retainer, ex GST. A psychologist billing in the range most private practices charge recovers the retainer with a handful of extra booked sessions a month. Fees vary by practice, so we work the figures from your own numbers in the first conversation. The pricing page lists what drives the cost.

We take NDIS psychosocial clients. Does the pricing change help?

The 2026-27 NDIS Pricing Arrangements raised the price limit for psychology, which lifts margin for practices with a psychosocial mix. It does not fill empty slots by itself. The practices that benefit most are the ones whose intake can take referrals from support coordinators quickly and whose report writing does not eat the extra margin. We work on both.
