Growth and AI visibility for not-for-profits and social impact organisations

More people reached. Less time on the tech.

Go Forth Digital helps Australian not-for-profits, charities and social impact organisations get found on Google and in AI answers, make giving, volunteering and booking easy online, and spend less time on admin. Every engagement starts with a digital strategy scoped to your organisation, your budget and your goals, quoted in writing and done by the founder.

Catherine Withers, the founder, has spent five years building websites, booking systems and online payments for health and wellness organisations, and runs Go Forth Digital on five values: integrity, honesty, stewardship, service and generosity.

Sound familiar?

The work is strong. The website hasn't kept up.

Most not-for-profits are doing more with less, and the digital side usually looks like this:

  • The website was built by a volunteer years ago, and nobody is sure how to update it.
  • People who need your service can't find you on Google, while a bigger organisation comes up first.
  • Donating takes too many clicks, so people give up halfway.
  • Volunteer sign-ups, event bookings and enquiries arrive in five different inboxes.
  • A funder asks for your latest annual report, and it's buried three pages deep.
  • Someone asks ChatGPT for a local service like yours, and you're not named.

None of that needs a bigger budget. It needs the right setup, done once and done properly.

What you get when we work together

  • Get found

People who need your service, and people who want to back it, find you on Google, Google Maps and in AI answers. That means clear program pages, a complete Google Business Profile, an ACNC listing that matches your website, and Google Ad Grants if you're eligible.

  • Get support

Giving, volunteering, event registrations and program bookings happen online, on a phone, in a few taps. Everything lands in one place, not five inboxes.

  • Get time back

Donation receipts, thank-you messages, volunteer reminders and enquiry follow-up run on automation, so staff and volunteers spend their hours on the work itself.

Free programs most charities miss

Before you spend a dollar, claim what's already free.

  • Google Ad Grants: eligible charities can get up to AU$13,000 a month in Google Search ads, at no cost, to reach donors, volunteers and the people they help. Australia has its own eligibility bar, including DGR status with the ATO, so it is worth checking before anyone starts an application. It then needs a careful setup and monthly management to stay within Google's rules, and that's the part most organisations miss. See who qualifies for Google Ad Grants in Australia.
  • Google Workspace for Nonprofits: verified charities get email, shared drives and calendars at no cost through Google for Nonprofits.
  • Canva for Nonprofits: eligible organisations get Canva Pro features free for a team of up to 50 people.
  • Your ACNC Charity Register listing: it's free and public, and it's one of the places search engines and AI tools can check. Make sure your name, address, website and what you do match your website exactly.

We'll tell you which of these you qualify for in the first conversation, and they can be set up as part of your scope.

How it works

  1. 1. Tell us what you need A sentence or two is enough: what you do, who you're trying to reach and what's getting in the way.
  2. 2. We find the gap worth the most We look at how people find you today, where donations, sign-ups and enquiries drop off, and what's taking your team's time. You get a written plan with the scope, the cost and what we expect to change, before you spend anything.
  3. 3. We do the work and hand it over The founder builds it, writes it and sets it up in your accounts, so your organisation owns everything. You get a short guide so staff and volunteers can keep it current, and monthly support if you want it.

Built for how not-for-profits run

  • Budgets that need to stretch: we scope to what your budget can carry and tell you what to do first, so every dollar goes where it moves the most.
  • Boards and funders: plain reporting your board can read, and a website that shows impact, governance and annual reports where funders look for them.
  • Staff and volunteers who change: a site anyone can update, with a guide, so nothing depends on one person.
  • Your platforms stay: the donation, CRM and booking tools you already use, connected rather than replaced.
  • You own everything: the website, the domain, the content, the ad accounts and the automations.

Why organisations work with us

  • You deal with the founder. The person who scopes your work does your work.
  • Values you'll recognise: integrity, honesty, stewardship, service and generosity.
  • Straight answers about cost and what's worth doing first.
  • Scope, cost and what we expect to change go in writing before anything starts.
  • If it won't be worth it yet, we'll tell you.

Frequently asked questions

What can a digital partner do for a not-for-profit?

Help more people find you, make it easy to give, volunteer or book, and cut the admin around all of it. For us that starts with a digital strategy: where people find you now, where they drop off, and what to fix first with the budget you have.

What is Google Ad Grants, and are we eligible?

It's a Google program that gives eligible charities up to US$10,000 a month in Google Search ads. You apply through Google for Nonprofits, which checks your charity registration. The grant only pays off if the account is set up well and managed to Google's rules each month. We can check your eligibility and run it for you.

Can you make our website easy for staff and volunteers to update?

Yes. We build it so the pages people change most, such as news, events and programs, are simple to edit, and we hand over a short guide. Nothing should depend on one person.

Can you set up online donations, volunteer sign-ups and event bookings?

Yes. We set up giving, volunteer forms, event registrations and program bookings so they work on a phone and land in one place, connected to the platforms you already use where possible.

Does our website matter to funders?

Yes. Funders, partners and major donors check your website before they back you. Clear impact, current annual reports and governance details make that check easy.

How much does it cost?

Pricing is quote-based, scoped to your organisation, your budget and your goals. As a guide, all ex GST: one-off projects such as a strategy, website or booking system range from $1,500 to $10,000, ongoing work on one service ranges from $800 to $6,500 a month, and a full-service retainer ranges from $3,000 to $8,000 a month. You get the scope and price in writing before anything starts, and if the budget is tight we'll tell you what to do first.
