Privacy policy

Go Forth Digital Pty Ltd (ABN 63 701 502 525) runs goforthdigital.com.au. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Go Forth Digital. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
- When you fill in a form: your name, business name and email address, plus anything else you choose to give us, such as your website, phone number, business type, budget range and what you need help with.
- When you email us: your email address and whatever you include.
- When you use the site: our hosting provider records basic technical details such as your IP address, browser type and the country you're in. We use them to keep the site running and to stop spam. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
- When you become a client: the contact and billing details we need to do the work and invoice you. If the work needs access to your accounts or systems, we only use that access for the work agreed in writing.
How we use it
To reply to you, prepare a quote, deliver the work you engage us for, invoice you and improve this website. We don't sell your information. We won't add you to a mailing list unless you ask to be on one.
Who we share it with
Only the providers we need to run the site and reply to you:
- Cloudflare hosts the site and checks forms for spam.
- Resend delivers form enquiries to our inbox.
- Our email provider, and the tools we use to manage enquiries and client work.
Some of these providers store or process data outside Australia, including in the United States. We only share what each one needs. We'll also disclose information if the law requires it.
How we keep it safe
Form enquiries go straight to our inbox and aren't stored on the website. We protect our accounts and limit access to the people doing your work.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't go ahead: up to two years, then deleted.
- Client records: generally five years after the work ends, as Australian tax law requires.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within 30 days.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, email us first and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're still not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
We'll update this page if anything changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
