Allied health marketing and AI visibility in Gold Coast

Go Forth Digital is the growth and AI visibility partner for Australian allied health and therapy practices, based on the Gold Coast and meeting practice owners here in person. For Gold Coast practices we get the practice named when a patient searches or asks an AI for a therapist in their suburb, turn enquiries into first appointments, and return the clinician hours that reports take.

Go Forth Digital is run by a founder who has worked a physiotherapy front desk processing private health and NDIS payments, run a gym P&L, and spent five years building health and wellness websites.

What is different about the Gold Coast market

The Gold Coast has two hospital catchments, a dense strip of competing practices from Southport to Burleigh, and a referrer ecosystem small enough that reputation travels within a fortnight.

Gold Coast University Hospital and Robina Hospital anchor two distinct referral catchments. Practices near either compete for discharge referrals and GP plans against neighbours within walking distance. The central and southern suburbs carry a high concentration of NDIS participants, which makes support coordinators the second referral channel and report turnaround a visible reputation.

Competition density is highest in Southport, Robina and Burleigh Heads, where Maps results rotate between many practices within a few hundred metres. Winning there means being the named answer for a condition or client group, not the suburb. Practices in the northern corridor and the hinterland face fewer neighbours and can hold the suburb term.

In person or remote

Gold Coast owners can choose to meet in person for the strategy conversation, the kick-off and the quarterly review; everything else runs over video.

The work itself does not change. The site, the Google Business Profile and the automations are built in your accounts, and the monthly report is a call and a document. In-person meetings are for the decisions that benefit from a whiteboard.

Questions Gold Coast practice owners ask

Do you meet Gold Coast practices in person?

Yes. The strategy conversation, the Foundations kick-off and the quarterly review can all happen at your practice or over coffee near it. Everything between those meetings runs over video and shared documents, because that is faster for a practice owner between clients. In-person delivery does not change the price.

Which Gold Coast suburbs are hardest to compete in?

Southport, Robina and Burleigh Heads have the densest concentration of physiotherapy and psychology practices on the coast, and Maps results there rotate between a dozen practices within a few hundred metres. The practices that win in those suburbs are the ones named for a condition or a client group, not the ones named for the suburb alone. Practices in the northern corridor and the hinterland compete against fewer neighbours and can win the suburb term outright.

How do Gold Coast referrers find a practice?

GPs around the hospital catchments, support coordinators serving the participant concentration in the central and southern suburbs, and the hospital discharge teams themselves. Each of them looks for the same three things: registration and funding accepted, current capacity, and how quickly intake responds. Referrer-facing pages that state those three plainly do more than any brochure.

Is the NDIS mix different on the Gold Coast?

Participant numbers are concentrated in the central and southern suburbs, and the support coordinator network is tight enough that reputation for report turnaround travels fast. Practices with a large NDIS mix have had the tightest year on margin after the 2026-27 pricing review. Utilisation and admin cost are the two levers left, and we work on both.
